Dear Brothers and Friends of the Order,
I had the opportunity to attend the Fall NYS AOH meeting in Schenectady on Saturday, October 22, 2011 along with Brothers John Greehy and Bill O'Donnell. I am happy to report that the businness of the Order in NYS is doing well and the new Board has hit the ground with both feet running!! In attendance were many national board officers seeking endorsements from their NYS Brothers for the upcoming national convention.
Speaking of the national convention, plans are well under way for NY to host the Biennial National Convention to be held in July 2012 in the Turning Stone Resort in the Mohawk Valley-Upstate NY. I hope many of you are planning on going since it is being held so close to home.Click here for more information.
While at the Fall meeting, I picked up the Hibernian History Calendars. This is a major fundraiser for the State so please buy one. The calendars are $25 each and they make great gifts!! Remember, there are 365 chances to win a cash prize (based on the Lotto draw). Call me if you need one.
All the best,
Kevin R. Cummings
